Introduction: A major challenge in contemporary world literature research is to explore how literary works transcend linguistic and cultural boundaries from their places of origin and reach readers around the world. With Chinese science fiction novels gaining increasing international attention, this lecture aims to discuss how Chinese science fiction expands our understanding of world literature.
Topic 2:Science Fiction and Human Values: Reading Huang Fan and Lin Yaode’s Fiction
Speaker :Dr. WONG Chi-hung
Introduction: This lecture discusses the science fiction novels of Huang Fan and Lin Yaode, appreciating the unique imagination of the authors and reflecting on human values through science fiction elements.
